'iCarly' is Earning Miranda Cosgrove a Sweet Paycheck

At 16, Miranda Cosgrove is making quite a living. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the iCarly star has signed on to continue starring in the hit TV series, a deal that's estimated to be in the "low- to mid-seven-figure" range.

Miranda will film 26 additional episodes, which the network picked up late last year. iCarly is Nick's No. 1 live-action series and the iSaved Your Life special was Nickelodeon's highest-rated and most-watched live-action telecast ever.

Miranda will also be banking more than your average 16-year-old's allowance when she releases her debut album, 'Sparks Fly,' on April 27. Her first single, 'Kissin U,' premiered via her live Facebook chat on March 12 and was produced by Dr. Luke, who is best known for his work with Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne and Ke$ha.

Miranda Cosgrove to Premiere New Single 'Kissin U' During Live Chat

Miranda Cosgrove is not only the star of iCarly and the latest face of Neutrogena, but she's also a super talented singer. The teen sensation is prepping for the release of her forthcoming album, 'Sparks Fly,' and on Friday, fans will be treated to a premiere of the first single, 'Kissin U,' during her own live Facebook chat.

By logging on to the online event, fans will be able to interact with and ask questions of the 16-year-old singer before she debuts her new single. Need an ice breaker to kick off your chat? 'Kissin U' was co-written by Miranda herself.

While 'Sparks Fly' is Miranda's first full album release, fans of the multi-talented Nickelodeon star have already heard her vocals on iCarly's theme song, 'Leave It All to Me,' as well as four additional songs performed by Miranda on the iCarly soundtrack.

Last year, she released a solo EP called 'About You Now,' just before the opening of her animated feature film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs for which she contributed the song 'Raining Sunshine.'

Miranda Cosgrove Becomes the New Face of Neutrogena

Miranda Cosgrove has signed on as the new face of Neutrogena! The iCarly star joins the likes of Hayden Panettiere, Vanessa Hudgens and Emma Roberts as the beauty line's new brand ambassador, reports People.

"My friends and I have always loved the Neutrogena brand and their ability to help inspire confidence," Miranda tells the magazine. "So when I found out I was actually going to be part of the Neutrogena family I was really excited."

What made the 16-year-old stand out amongst her peers? "Miranda embodies the youthful and vibrant spirit that has always been part of the Neutrogena brand" says Jim Colleran, President of Neutrogena.

While this is a major score for Miranda's career, Neutrogena's decision also proves that the Nickelodeon actress has major star power. The beauty brand signed Hayden during the height of her TV show Heroes, Vanessa while High School Musical was a hit and Emma on the heels of he budding film career. Way to go, Miranda!

Is Miranda Cosgrove Too Old For Nickelodeon?

Nickelodeon is looking for newbies. We hope this doesn't mean iCarly is going off the air...

The television network is embarking on a nationwide tour to find new talent. Teens and tweens ages 12-18 can audition during open casting calls, starting on January 23 in Atlanta, GA. The Nick team will then continue on to Austin, TX on February 20 and Miami, FL on February 27, with more cities and dates to be announced.

BTW, another Nickelodeon super star, Keke Palmer, has big plans for the weekend. She'll be hosting a TwitPic Trivia Challenge from January 22-24. On her Twitter account, Keke will post one photo question each day. After the last question is posted, e-mail your answers to Keke and the first person with all the right answers will win a prize.

Miranda Cosgrove's New Year's Resolution? Drink Less Coke

Miranda Cosgrove has jumped on the 2010 New Year's resolution wagon, starting off with small goals. When we recently spoke with the iCarly star, she told us she's rethinking her choice of beverages this year.

"My New Year's resolution is probably to drink more water," says Miranda, who drinks around six sodas a day. "I drink a lot of Coke, like tons, so more water, and just have a more fun year than last year -- just have an even more fun time."

Sounds good, but Coke's x206 winners probably wouldn't want to hear Miranda's resolution -- they've practically resolved to drink more Coke in the new year.

'Avatar' Gains Celebrity Fans

Avatar scored the No. 1 spot at the box office this weekend, raking in $77.3 million, and we know at least three celebrities who are big fans of the live-action and computer-generated film.

In our exclusive interview with Lucas Till, the 19-year-old called Avatar a modern day version of Pocahontas, but with "James Cameron's brilliant sci-fi twist on it all."

Over the weekend, Miranda Cosgrove hit the theaters to check out the blockbuster, tweeting, "Just went to see Avatar in 3D. It was amazing!"

Glee star Kevin McHale also showed his support of the 3-D movie on Twitter, writing, "Who's as excited as me to see Avatar?!"

Avatar broke records for the
biggest December opening of all time, besting 'I Am Legend's' $77.2 million opening in 2007.
