Miley Cyrus Shares the Stage With Justin Bieber at the MMVAs

It's no secret that Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber have become pals. They were recently spotted having dinner in L.A. together to discuss a new "side project," and JB has gotten kicks out of prank calling Miley on occasion. But on Sunday, Justin gave fans a special treat when he hopped on stage with the teen sensation at the MuchMusic Video Awards.

The Bieb was definitely the star of the night, winning three awards at the Canadian event. However Miley held her ground as the show's host and featured performer. She sang two songs that evening, including 'Can't Be Tamed' and her 2009 hit 'Party in the U.S.A.,' during which Justin made his cameo.

Although the 16-year-old pop singer didn't hit grab the mic, he did lend his support as a bandana-wearing dancer who rolled up to the front of the stage on a low rider bike. Naturally, when Miley revealed who her mystery guest was, the crow went wild. Miss out on the MMVA action? Watch the entire high-energy performance of 'Party in the U.S.A.' after the jump.

Has Miley changed over the past year?

Miley Cyrus Gets Scared for Latest Movie Role

With her bubbly Hannah Montana persona behind her, Miley Cyrus is taking her career down a darker path. The 17-year-old is heavily considering playing a distraught teen in a paranormal thriller.

Miley was offered the leading part in the movie adaptation of Lisa McMann's popular novel Wake. In the book, 17-year-old Janie gets unexpectedly pulled into other people's dreams. But danger chases the teen when she's stuck in a frightening nightmare.

Does Wake sound like it has the chops to follow in Twilight's supernatural footsteps?

The book is the first of three best-sellers, and should Miley lead this film to become a box office success, Wake could be the start of a paranormal franchise. Paramount and MTV Films have already secured the rights to the book's sequels Fade and Gone.

Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber Top Forbes' Teen Entrepreneurs List

Forbes is recognizing teens for their hard work, and naturally Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber are listed among the 11 Most Successful Teen Celebrity Entrepreneurs.

We're not surprised that Miley, Justin or any of the other teen stars on the list made the cut. Forbes considered celebs who have been able to balance careers in multiple industries -- music, film, TV, publishing and fashion -- while also finding time for charity work on the side.

Miley is one of the biggest examples of a teen sensation who has managed to score deals in nearly every category. Her success with Hannah Montana skyrocketed, and was the basis for her non-Disney singing and acting pursuits.

Justin on the other hand is recognized for his impressive Internet skills. As you all know, the 16-year-old pop singer launched his career using YouTube, and created a huge fan community on Twitter and Facebook that has set off the Bieber Fever epidemic.
