Why Is Justin Bieber Releasing 'My World 2.0' So Soon After His First Album?

Justin Bieber is releasing My World 2.0 on March 23, and fans who pre-order the album could have the chance to be included in a fan photo mosaic in the final CD artwork. This is awesome news, but the 15-year-old's debut album My World just hit shelves three months ago, so why is he releasing his next album so soon?

My World has already hit platinum-selling status (that's over 1 million records), and four record-breaking singles from the album have been released. Most artists take a year or more to release their sophomore album, but with the overwhelming success and demand for the Canadian pop star, execs may have thought it best to not keep fans waiting for new songs.

If this is a new strategy among record label execs, we're not complaining. And if it gives Beliebers more music to be psyched about without the wait, we think it's a great move. Maybe we'll get My World 3.0 this summer!

Will you buy My World 2.0?

Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Miley And More Hit Up The Grammys

Did you watch the Grammys? The awards just wrapped up and here's the score. Taylor Swift walked away with the biggest award of the night, Album of The Year. Honestly, Taylor was up against some tough competition, but she won the category and also took home three other Grammys. She also performed during the show -- a cool mash-up of her new 'Valentines Day' single 'Today Was A Fairytale,' and 'You Belong With Me' with Fleetwood Mac alum, Stevie Nicks!

The lovely Lea Michele from Glee was definitely one of our best dressed picks from the night. And, of course, Taylor killed it on the red carpet! Like we predicted, she wore something super sparkly.

Tweet Saves Justin Bieber From Being Arrested

Last November, Justin Bieber was scheduled to appear at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, NY, but the event was shut down after the crowd got out of hand. Now, the 15-year-old pop/R&B singer reveals that a tweet saved him from being taken away in handcuffs.

StyleBakeryTeen reports that police threatened to arrest Justin if he did not send a tweet to his fans about the canceled event. "The stupid police officers ended up threatening to arrest me for coming," Justin said, according to WENN.com. "They told me to tweet my fans telling them I wasn't coming, otherwise they would arrest me. It didn't make sense -- how could you arrest someone for not Twittering?"

Justin did what the police told him to do, tweeting: "The event at Roosevelt Mall is canceled. Please go home. The police have already arrested one person from my camp. I don't want anyone hurt." Thousands of fans went home without seeing Justin that day, but at least Justin didn't end up behind bars.

Were the police right in making Justin tweet?

Justin Bieber Gets Ready to 'Jam' For the Super Bowl

Justin Bieber is set to rock out in the name of football. The 15-year-old singer will be performing at the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam concert series in Miami, Florida on Thursday, February 4, which is part of a free, two-day event that will take place just before Super Bowl XLIV on February 7.

Justin will be rocking songs from his debut album 'My World,' but we also have a hunch he'll play his new single 'Baby,' which hits iTunes next week. Rihanna, Nelly Furtado, Pitbull and Paulina Rubio are also scheduled to perform at the concert series.

Free tickets for the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam are available at TicketMaster.com on a first-come, first-serve basis. But hurry -- with Justin performing, we doubt they'll last long. Can't make it in person? VH1 will be televising Justin's concert on February 4, beginning at 9 p.m. ET.

Win a Hug From Justin Bieber!

If you're a fan of Justin Bieber, you could win a hug from the 15-year-old star -- for real. J-14 is giving away an embrace from the Canadian singer at an upcoming event, and you could be the lucky winner!

To fans, the prize is priceless, but the official contest rules wanted to remind entrants that the hug has no monetary value. "The approximate retail value of the prize is $0.00," the rules say.

How much do you think a hug from Justin Bieber would go for if you could buy it in a store?

J-14's Win a Hug From Justin Bieber contest ends on February 15, so hurry up and enter here for your chance win. Best of luck, Beliebers!

Justin Bieber Can't Hold It Down on MTV's 'Silent Library'

Justin Bieber guest stars in the season premiere of MTV's Silent Library, and let's just say he can't hold it down. The show challenges teams to keep quiet as each member is put under extreme circumstances. In Justin's case, he has to drink a Chinese food smoothie that is anything but smooth.

Justin joins the likes of Forever the Sickest Kids, We the Kings and others in the second season of the laugh-inducing game show in which teams can walk away with a cash prize.

Check out a clip of Justin's appearance after the jump. Warning: If you have a gag reflex, you probably shouldn't press play. The pranks begin tonight when Silent Library premieres on MTV at 6:30 p.m. ET.
