Anna Kendrick No Longer Doing Teen Movies After Oscar Nom?

Some actors would consider playing any role in the Twilight Saga to be the high point of their careers. Not Anna Kendrick. Bella Swan's peppy and nosy pal Jessica is now nominated for Oscar gold for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her work in 'Up In The Air.' But will her newfound success from the R-rated film mean she drops the teen market to pursue more serious roles?

While fan faves Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Robert Pattinson have been in the news for every non-New Moon role they land, Anna's mega success and peer recognition came quietly. In addition to her Oscar nom, she's also been nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress, a far cry from the RAZZIE awards her Twilight co-stars earned.

For now, Anna isn't commenting on her future endeavors, partly because she's still in shock over her Oscar nom. She wrote on her Twitter page, "I'd love to say that 140 characters couldn't cover how I'm feeling right now but I'm honestly speechless."

Bella's Jacket Inspires 'Twilight' Clothing Line

BB Dakota probably didn't know what kind of craze they were going to start when they first created their sensible hooded jacket. But after Kristen Stewart sported the blue zip-up number in Twilight, it soon became known to fans as the "Bella jacket."

With the success of the sweet wardrobe piece, the California-based fashion company has announced a new collection inspired by Bella's style, reports WWD. Twi-hards will get to fill their closets with skinny cords, plaid shirts, denim leggings and hoodies, which will be available this fall in specialty boutiques and stores nationwide.

Could we see BB Dakota's line make an appearance in Eclipse or Breaking Dawn? We wouldn't rule it out. The cool part about the new line is that you can rock your Twilight style before the new movies come out. Those plaid shirts and hoodies will go great with Bella's shoes, jeans and accessories, which, if you wear with the right attitude, might just score you your very own Edward.

Save the 'Twilight' Wolves

In the Twilight books, werewolves are regular inhabitants of Forks and La Push. But in real life, the wolves surrounding the town of Forks could be in serious danger.

In the late 1800s, extensive wolf extermination campaigns eliminated the species from Washington's Olympic Peninsula. But now, after more than a hundred years, wolves are slowly returning to the area.

Maybe the wolves are Twilight fans coming to pay homage to the town where Bella and Edward live, but not everyone is happy to have this them visit the area. State officials are currently debating whether or not to allow the wolves to inhabit the forests or allow them to be hunted.

There's an online petition to ask Washington's Governor Chris Gregoire to allow the wolves to enter the state once again. Which side of the wolf debate are you on?

Early 'Eclipse' Script Leaks Online

Ever lose your homework? Well that's nothing compared to the oops moment Eclipse's Jackson Rathbone recently had.

According to Deadline Hollywood, Jackson lost his copy of the screenplay for the third Twilight movie. But it gets worse. Whoever found the script leaked it on the Internet.

Summit Entertainment, the movie house behind The Twilight Saga, isn't commenting on the situation, so we can't say where exactly Jasper Hale's booklet was found. But we do know it was only an early version of the script -- so probably not too far off from the book.

This isn't the first time one of the Twilight cast members left behind their top secret script. While Anna Kendrick, who plays Bella's first BFF Jessica, was filming Up in the Air in St. Louis, a copy of New Moon ended up in the trash can of her hotel lobby. Luckily the woman who found those papers didn't spill to the tabloids and instead returned the document to Summit.

What would you do if you found the script?

Is A Reality Show Coming to Forks?

The real life Edward Cullen and Bella Swan could soon be invading your TV screen.

According to TheWrap, a television producer is hoping to create a reality show based on Forks, the small town in Washington that is the setting for the Twilight series.

But unlike the books, you won't see any vampires or werewolves on the episodes.

"We're not going up there looking to cast people who have claims to the supernatural," Gauthier reveals. "We want people who have a true connection to the community. We want to avoid people with outlandish claims."

Happy Birthday, Stephenie Meyer

Stephenie Meyer may not be a teenager, but she certainly knows how to capture one's attention. After almost single-handedly bringing vampires back into the spotlight, the author of the massively popular Twilight series has become an icon herself. So for that, we celebrate Stephenie's 36th birthday!

Did you know that Stephenie had never written so much as a short story before Twilight? Now, the four-book series has gone on to sell over 85 million copies worldwide. Of course, Twi-hards know all about the movie adaptations of the novels, which have catapulted the careers of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

Last year, Stephenie made Time magazine's "100 Most Influential People" list, and scored a spot on Forbes' 2009 Celebrity 100 list, which names the world's most powerful celebrities. It looks like she has plenty to celebrate this Christmas Eve. Happy birthday, Stephenie!
