'Glee' Guys to Co-Host Teen Choice Awards With Katy Perry

Katy Perry was recently named as the host of the 2010 Teen Choice Awards, but now Fox has confirmed that the guys of Glee will be sharing the stage with the pop singer as co-hosts.

Cory Monteith, Mark Salling, Chris Colfer and Kevin McHale will be on hand to MC the night, which celebrates the best in music, film, TV, sports and more. All of the coveted surfboard awards are determined by fan voting, so it really is the teens' choice.

Cory is nominated for Choice TV Actor: Comedy and the entire cast is up for Choice Music: Group, so the guys won't have to walk very far if they win. Glee is also repping in three additional categories -- the series is nominated for Choice TV Show: Comedy; Lea Michele is up for Choice TV Actress: Comedy; and Jane Lynch is vying for Choice TV: Villain.

There's going to be a whole lot of Glee in the house that night! Do you think the show will sweep the event? Tune into FOX at 8 p.m. ET on Monday, August 9 to find out.

Teen Choice Awards Puts Justin Bieber Against Usher and Drake

Justin Bieber has some heavy competition at this year's Teen Choice Awards. The 16-year-old pop star is not only facing off with his mentor Usher, but he's also going head-to-head with fellow Canadian Drake in the Choice Male Artist category.

But we don't think there's anything to worry about. Although Usher has dominated the Billboard charts recently and Drake is has become the new R&B "It" guy, Justin has this one in the bag. Sure, both artists have years of experience on JB, but millions of fans worldwide have caught Bieber Fever, and there's no telling when it'll die down.

The past year has been huge for Justin -- he's released two albums, toured the world and become an Internet force to be reckoned with -- and since the awards are determined by fan voting, we're confident that the pop star will come out on top. Adam Lambert and Jason Derulo have also been nominated in the category, but we don't their fans can compare with Justin's.

Will Katy Perry Be a Good Host for the Teen Choice Awards?

On Tuesday, Katy Perry was announced as the host for this year's Teen Choice Awards on August 9. In previous years, the gig has been offered to Disney darlings such as the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus, which makes us wonder: is Katy is really the right person for the job?

Katy's pop songs -- especially 'Hot N Cold' and 'Waking Up in Vegas' -- are definitely crowd-pleasers, but some feel her lyrics may be too grown-up for teens. However, with her new album, 'Teenage Dream,' set to be released on August 24, the hosting gig is a perfect opportunity for Katy to be in front of her fans.

Katy's already got a new hit single out called 'California Gurls,' which is bound to be a major summer jam. But can she hold her own up on the stage for the Teen Choice Awards? Or would someone else be a better fit? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Kristen Stewart Leaving For Eclipse?

Kristen Stewart was spotted going through security at LAX airport in Los Angeles, California yesterday after the Teen Choice Awards.

Kristen and the rest of her Twilight cast picked up an impressive 11 surfboard awards including Choice Movie Actress and Choice Movie Kiss (with Robert Pattinson).

Kristen caused quite a fashion stir at the awards, wearing a Rock and Republic dress with a skirt made out of spikes! But at the airport she opted for a more comfortable look of a T-shirt, black skinny jeans, sneakers and a hoodie.

So where is she off to now? Perhaps to join Rob and Taylor Lautner in Vancouver where Eclipse is reportedly set to start filming next week!

Lucas Till's Date @ the '09
Teen Choice Awards

We talked to Hannah Montana hottie, Lucas Till last week and asked him if he was taking a date to the Teen Choice Awards.

"No, I couldn't get enough tickets! I was going to take my aunt with me, because she lives with me. She moved to L.A. with me so that I wouldn't be alone. I was going to take her, but no, now it's my publicist that took the seat because I couldn't get an extra ticket."

We also asked him to clear up the Internet rumor that he's dating Miley Cyrus, Emily Osment and Taylor Swift. [Laughing] "That's awesome! No, that's not true at all. That's awesome though, love that."

Chelsea Staub Shops Last Minute

JSYK gave Chelsea Staub a call last week and we asked her what she planned to wear to the Teen Choice Awards.

JSYK: Congratulations on your Teen Choice Award nomination. Have you decided what you're going to wear yet?
Chelsea: "I have no idea."

Isn't it this weekend?
"Yeah, it's this weekend. I'm kind of a train wreck when it comes to getting ready for red carpets because I'm very last minute. I do everything last minute. If it weren't for the last minute, I wouldn't get anything done [laughs]. So I'll probably be out Thursday and Friday finding a dress and shoes and throwing it all together."

Oh my gosh. Well good luck!
[Laughing] "Thank you!"

Looks like she pulled it off!!
