After watching one of his films, Taylor Swift hand-picked British actor Toby Hemingway to star in the video for her new single, 'Mine,' but has the country sensation chosen the 27-year-old to be her real life love interest?

According to Page Six, Taylor and Toby have been spotted hanging out together in Maine, and the 20-year-old Grammy winner will reportedly bring her new "friend" along to debut 'Mine' on her live video premiere special tonight. It makes total sense for the singer to ask her co-star to join her for the big reveal, but the rumor mill is buzzing about something more than just a professional connection between the stars.

Of course, no one in Taylor's camp is confirming or denying the reports. "We don't comment on Taylor's personal life," her publicist said. Yeah, we've heard that one before.

If Taylor really is dating Toby, their relationship could qualify for "love at first sight" status -- well, at least for the Nashville girl. "I saw 'Feast of Love' and just loved that movie and thought Toby was so great that I thought it would be perfect to put him in the video," she told People.

It was pretty much fate for Toby Hemingway to play Taylor Swift's groom in the video for her new single "Mine."

Before choosing who would be cast as her love interest, Taylor explains, "I was doing some more research and watched another movie he was in called The Covenant. I've got this crazy 13 lucky thing, and he walks on screen for the first time wearing a sweatshirt with a 13 on it! That was the deciding factor. It wasn't really up to me, it was about the number."

Taylor's right to trust that sign -- 13 has been a magic charm for the star who was born on December 13. "I turned 13 on Friday the 13th," she says. "My first album went gold in 13 weeks. My first number 1 song had a 13-second intro. Every time I've won an award I've been seated in either the 13th seat, the 13th row, the 13th section or row M, which is the 13th letter."

The wait is over! Taylor Swift will be premiering the video for her new single, 'Mine,' worldwide on Friday, August 27. MTV.com will debut the video online in a premiere special beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET, and fans can watch it on-air on MTV at 9 p.m. ET.

On July 20, Taylor appeared on a live chat to announce the October 25 release date of her new album, 'Speak Now,' and give details about her first single from the record, 'Mine.' The 20-year-old revealed that the song is about her "pattern of sort of running away when it comes time to fall in love" and "finding the exception to that."

In the video, Taylor plays a bride, who is set to marry her handsome groom, played by British actor Toby Hemingway. Although Taylor has acting credits to her name, she still thought it was "a little strange" to be married on camera. "I get to wear big dresses and wear white all the time on the carpet, but there's nothing quite like actually pretending you're getting married," she told People about the video shoot.

Make room on your shelf for another trophy, Taylor Swift. The "Mine" singer was chosen over Justin Bieber and eight other celebs to be inducted into the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame.

More than 1.3 million votes were cast to turn Taylor into a bowling legend. The 20-year-old country star will be honored at the International Bowling Museum in Texas with a photo and plaque. Maybe she'll grab her bowling alley buds Selena Gomez and Cory Monteith to celebrate. After all, she has a lot to be smiling about nowadays.

Taylor's new single "Mine" debuted at Number 3 on Billboard's Hot 100. In February, "Today Was a Fairytale" debuted at Number 2 and that makes Taylor one of only two female singers to have more than one song debut in the Top 5 in a single year. Mariah Carey first received that honor back in 1995.

Although New Year's Eve, the sequel to Valentine's Day, is set to host a whole new cast of characters, Taylor Swift is the one celeb from the original cast who's being considered to return in forthcoming rom-com.

According to E! Online, execs are thinking of bringing back Taylor's character, Felicia, only this time the film would follow the bubbly high school cheerleader during her college years at NYU. But don't get excited, Twi-hards -- Taylor Lautner probably won't be back as Tay's boyfriend.

For one, that would be super awkward for the real-life exes, but since the goal is to cast fresh faces for New Year's Eve, we think Felicia will get the chance to meet someone new. However, if Taylor is approached about doing the sequel, she could share the big screen with her pal Justin Bieber. In May, director Garry Marshall said the 16-year-old pop singer was being considered for a role in the film, although he didn't know who Justin was. Um, we bet he knows now!
