Taylor Lautner's hosting gig on the December 12 episode of Saturday Night Live scored the highest ratings of the season for the sketch comedy show. The record was previously held by Taylor Swift, who hosted SNL on November 7.

Taylor Lautner's show, featuring musical guest Bon Jovi, averaged a 5.1/12 rating in metered-market households, while Taylor Swift's episode, in which she also was the musical guest, earned a 5.0 rating.

LOL. Our favorite parts of Taylor Lautner's hosting gig on SNL last night was his opening monologue where he karate chopped Kanye West (nice backflip too Taylor) and the skit where he played a girl in love with Edward Cullen.

She's not supposed to be on Saturday Night Live this weekend, but we have a hunch that Taylor Swift will stop by to visit her "friend" – yeah, right – Taylor Lautner when he takes his turn at hosting the iconic show.

After all, Lautner recently visited the country singing phenomenon while she was performing at the 102.7 KIIS FM Jingle Ball concert in Los Angeles. So now it's only fair that she returns the favor.

Is this fate or what? Taylor S. will be in New York City this Friday for the Z100 Jingle Ball concert. And Taylor L. will be hosting Saturday Night Live the following night.

Could there be a romantic stroll through Central Park in the cards for these two? Or will Lautner blow an air kiss to Taylor Swift live on the air, just like she did to him while hosting the show last month?

The first clip shows Kristen claiming she thought she was a werewolf once, and the second pokes fun at the age difference between the 17-year-old actor and the comedienne.

Taylor is one of the ten youngest celebrities to ever host the sketch comedy sketch series.

Taylor Swift definitely had us LOLing during her gig as Saturday Night Live host and performer. During her opening monologue song she called out Joe Jonas for dumping her over the phone AND flirted with Taylor Lautner (looks like they really are dating).
