OMG Celebrity Tweets of 2009
It seems like teen celebs could not stop using Twitter last year. We're talking about Miley Cyrus (for most of 2009 anyway), Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift in particular.And, like it or not, we were powerless to resist their tweets, regardless of how nonsensical some of them (okay, most of them) were.
We could easily rank the dumbest tweets of 2009, Miley would get the top spot on that list for this whopper on July 20...or this one from August 14. Instead, we've decided to pick important tween tweets from the past 365 days. We're calling them our top OMG tweets of the year.
And yet, somehow, Miley managed to nab a couple of those as well - like her short, but sweet tweet about Michael Jackson's death, her 99-character response to critics after her controversial Teen Choice Awards performance and, of course, her very last tweet right before she deleted her account on October 8.
Anyway, here's to a Miley-free Twitterverse in 2010 - may it be just as entertaining as '09!
