Comic Book Heroes just wrapped up a full weekend in Los Angeles for the 2009 American Music Awards where they played a pre-awards show at the Roxy and the official post-AMA party at the Conga Room. The Pennsylvania four-piece experienced plenty of firsts while in L.A., and since you voted them as your favorite boy band in the JSYK Awards, we had the band tell us all about their time out west in their own words (and photos).

Hey everyone, so this past week, we were in California for the 2009 American Music Awards and a show at the Roxy Theatre on Sunset and we had a blast! We got there last Tuesday and spent the first couple of days in meetings with "Team CBH" -- our managers, publicists and agents. We hit up some guitar stores had a great show at the Roxy on Thursday.

Saturday night was crazy as we attended our first rooftop LA party, the AMA pre-party at Club Nokia. This was our first real LA/Hollywood/biz party and we had a great time. The girls, organic cupcakes and bumpin' music made the night unforgettable.

The 2009 American Music Awards are kicking off this weekend and all of your favorite stars are ready to hit the red carpet! On Sunday, November 22, the 37th annual event will take place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, honoring the best in pop, rock, hip-hop, R&B and more.

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato will be presenting along with Kristen Bell and Colbie Caiilat. Taylor Swift, Michael Jackson and Kings of Leon are among the night's nominated artists, while Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and many more are scheduled to perform. Comic Book Heroes will be rocking a live set at the official after-party, too!

It's going to be a star-studded evening!
