Can You Futterwacken? Win an iPad From 'Alice in Wonderland'

Alice in Wonderland is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on June 1 and to celebrate, Disney is giving away an iPad to two lucky winners in exchange for their best Futterwacken.

If you've seen the movie, the Futterwacken was the dance that the Mad Hatter broke out into, representing his joy. The 'Show Us Your Best Futterwacken' contest asks fans to make a video of their best interpretations of the dance and post them online. The two people with the best dance will score an awesome iPad on which you can download the sweet Alice for the iPad app.

Here are the deets: go to Disney.com/Alicedance and make a video that's no longer than 40 seconds, and include your first name and the state in which you live. Add music to your entry -- Kerli's 'Tea Party' is one of the song choices -- and then upload the video to Disney's site.

The contest ends at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, so get crackin' on your Futterwacken! Need some inspiration? Watch this behind-the-scenes video of choreographer David Bernal explaining how he came up with the dance.

'Alice in Wonderland' for the iPad Makes Us Go Mad

If you didn't think you wanted an iPad before, you're definitely going to want one now. Atomic Antelope has created Alice for the iPad, a new app that revolutionizes the experience of reading Alice in Wonderland by allowing users to interact with moving pictures and animated characters throughout the story.

In the incredible trailer for the app, you see a user tilting the iPad to engage the images on the screen. Alice grows big and shrinks small; the Mad Hatter shakes; and things fall from the sky. Readers can also throw tarts at the Queen of Hearts and watch the Cheshire Cat vanish into thin air.

The e-book includes 52 pages and 20 animated scenes, based on the original illustrations in Lewis Carroll's classic tale. Alice for the iPad is currently the bestselling children's book app to date, which makes us wonder if more e-books will have interactive elements in the future.

Video Premiere: Kerli, 'Tea Party'

If you were to dream about the ultimate Mad Hatter tea party, it would probably look like the one in Kerli's new video. The international singer-songwriter has penned a song called 'Tea Party' for the Alice in Wonderland soundtrack 'Almost Alice,' and in true Kerli fashion, she's taking all the visuals to the extreme.

Dressed in outrageous costumes, Kerli sets up a lavish tea party for her friends. Each one of them has a distinct look and everyone is having a great time until Kerli spikes the tea with a secret potion.

All of the props and costumes in the video were shot live, but most of the backgrounds you see aren't actually there. Flip through our behind-the-scenes photos and you'll see that a majority of the video was shot against a green screen. See how it all came together in the full video after the jump. Kerli's 'Tea Party' is available on iTunes now.

'Alice in Wonderland' Breaks Box Office Records

Alice in Wonderland was a huge hit among moviegoers this weekend, and now Tim Burton can count it as his most successful film to date.

The wonders of Wonderland were enough to score the film the No. 1 spot at the box office, earning $116.3 million in the U.S. and $94 million internationally for a total of $210.3 million worldwide.

The 3-D adaptation also broke the record for the highest opening weekend of any movie in 2010 so far, and the best-ever March debut, breaking the previous record of $70.8 million held by the 2007 film 300.

While the movie is still in its opening week, fans can already get psyched to own their own copy and DVR it when it airs on television. Disney intends to make Alice in Wonderland available on DVD at the end of May, and ABC Family just scooped up the TV premiere rights with plans to premiere the movie in 2012.

These days, movies are coming out on DVD just months after their theatrical release, but until 3D TV technology becomes more commonplace, the draw of 3D movies will still keep moviegoers coming.

'Alice in Wonderland' Inspires Clothing, Jewelry and Nail Polish

If you've seen the trailer, you know that Alice in Wonderland is filled with vibrant colors and iconic characters that are every designer's dream. In fact, the movie's fantastic flair has inspired a variety of clothing and accessories, so 'Alice' fans can make their "wonderful" look complete. Let's go down the rabbit hole...

OPI's Alice in Wonderland Nail Polish Collection - OPI has a knack for giving their vast color collection super cute names, and this one is no different. You can take your manicure up a notch with matte and glitter-rich colors like Thanks So Muchness, Absolutely Alice, Mad as a Hatter and Off With Her Red!. Our favorite is Absolutely Alice (pictured), which captures the familiar blue of Alice's dress as well as the enchantment of Wonderland.

Swarovski's Alice in Wonderland Jewelry Line - Sparkly accessories are always in, which is why we love Swarovski's new crystal-encrusted jewelry pieces. The Alice in Wonderland collection features several necklaces, pendants and rings, inspired by Alice, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit and, of course, The Red Queen. How cool is the Red Queen ring? The rose gold sparrow necklace worn by Alice in the film will also be available, so you can have a little piece of Alice with you all the time.

Almost Alice features songs by Metro Station, Owl City, 3OH3! and All Time Low, just to name a few. Many of the songs were written specifically for the movie, while others fit in perfectly with the album's theme.
