Big Emmy Musical Number With Chris Colfer Planned For Tonight?
There aren't too many reasons why we would want to tune into the Emmy Awards tonight on NBC. Sure, we'd planned to have it on in the background because we're dying to know if Chris Colfer will win the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy and we're also a bit curious how the Glee vs. Modern Family showdown for Best Comedy Series will turn out. But for the most part, the awards highlight a lot of shows that, truthfully, we just don't watch. But now rumors are swirling that there's a fun opening musical number planned featuring not only Chris, but Jane Lynch (up for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy) as well. How amazing does that sound? Also, Lea Michele is celebrating her birthday today and she and Matthew Morrison are both nominated for awards tonight.
So it's set then. We'll watch the Emmys and bring you the highlights so you can go about your other back-to-school plans or whatever else you had going on this Sunday night. Check back here for red carpet photos, tweets and spoilers from the show.
