'Glee's' Dianna Agron "Cheated" to Become Spelling Bee Runner Up
Who said you need to be a great speller to win a spelling bee? Dianna Agron cheated her way to the final round of a charity bee benefiting Los Angeles students this weekend.The Glee star posted this message on her fundraising page, "Help me win!!! I need your support to cheat my way to the top and without your support, 826LA won't be able to help students ages 6-18 with their creative and expository writing skills. The more money I raise, the better my chance of taking home the trophy. Thanks for your help!"
Dianna's way too sweet to cheat for real. The way this spelling bee worked was the more money you raised, the more you could "cheat." For $100, you could request a one letter spelling hint. A new word cost you $500 and for $750 you could use a dictionary. Even if you messed up in this bee, $6,000 bought you a second chance.
