'Scott Pilgrim' Video Game Features Geek Chic Soundtrack
Michael Cera's character in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is a bass-playing indie rock nerd who spends a ton of time at the arcade, so it's no surprise that the music for the video game is as unique as Scott is.If you're already into game music, this soundtrack will undoubtedly be in your heavy rotation. All of the songs were written by a chiptune punk band from called Anamanaguchi. The band has four members, who create their tunes using synthesizers and, get this, a rigged NES and Game Boy.
But the guys in Anamanaguchi switch things up from other chiptune groups by also adding live guitar, bass and drums for a new spin on a sometimes dated electronic sound. It is 2010 after all.

Check out five songs from CD below and listen to the full soundtrack here. The geek chic album is available in stores and on iTunes now.
