Is President Obama Immune to Bieber Fever?

In the past year, people of all ages have fallen for the sweet sounds of Justin Bieber, but it looks like President Obama may be immune to the powers of Bieber Fever.

In a history-making appearance on The View on Thursday, the President talked about the music on his iPod, and while Jay-Z made the cut, the Bieb did not. "I do not have Justin Bieber," he said. "I have met Justin Bieber; he came to sing at the White House. He's a very nice young man."

At Christmas in Washington event in December, Justin was super excited to meet our Commander-in-Chief, tweeting: "Oh yeah...and I did meet President Obama!! Got to sing for him too. I was nervous for sure." But the Canadian singer got over his nerves, owning the stage at the White House's annual Easter Egg Roll and performing in front of the first family once again.

President Obama may not be singing along to Justin, but we bet Sasha and Malia have a few playlists with JB's jams on them. What do you think? Are you surprised that the President doesn't have 'My World' or 'My World 2.0' on his iPod?

'Too Fat For 15' Documents Teens' Fight Against Obesity

Teen obesity is the focus of ABC Family's hit show Huge, but now the Style Network is taking an even closer look at the topic with its new reality series Too Fat For 15: Fighting Back.

The documentary-style show follows five overweight teens at Wellspring Academy, a weight-loss boarding school in North Carolina. The high schoolers are not only faced with the everyday challenges of being 15, but they're also struggling to shed hundreds of pounds.

The lives of these students are being threatened by their unhealthy weight, and the show sets out to show the country just how real the childhood obesity crisis is. The series comes at a time when teen obesity is at the forefront of discussion. Beyond TV, Michelle Obama has been actively promoting her Let's Move campaign and trying to get healthier lunches in schools across America.

What do you think of the show concept? Do you think it's important to put the spotlight on this issue? Watch the trailer for the show after the jump and tune into the Style Network on Monday, August 9 at 8 p.m. for the season premiere of Too Fat For 15: Fighting Back.

Robert Pattinson Inspires Non-'Twilight' Underwear Line

Robert Pattinson has brought Edward Cullen to life and caused plenty of Twi-fans to all but lose their minds, but now the 24-year-old actor has inspired something else: a men's underwear line.

But we're not talking about Team Edward boxer shorts here. According to People, British department store Marks and Spencer announced that they're designing a line of slim-fit underwear and low-rise briefs called the R-Pant. The collection is aimed at guys who want to wear something under their skinny jeans, just like the ones R-Patz sports himself.

But don't get too excited, Twi-hards. Even though co-star Kellan Lutz has stripped down to his skivvies for Calvin Klein's new campaign, Rob isn't endorsing the upcoming Marks and Spencer line and won't be appearing in any ads for it.

The new collection will be available this September. Hey guys, we want to hear from you. What do you think of the new R-Patz-inspired line? If you lived in London, would you hit up Marks and Spencer for a pair or two?

Are Gastric Bands A Safe Alternative for Teens Struggling to Lose Weight?

First Lady Michelle Obama is fighting hard to end childhood obesity, but could a gastric band be the simple solution to this national epidemic?

"Bands are definitely safe in the short term and definitely work in the short term," explains Dr. Mary Brandt, director of pediatric surgery at Texas Children's Hospital. "What we don't know is about the long term. I'm not saying it should never be used. We just have to be more careful about how we're using it."

Gastric banding is a seemingly easy surgery. It only takes between a half-hour to an hour to complete, and the patient is left with a band at the top of the stomach to reduce its size. Unlike gastric bypass surgery, gastric banding can be reversed. According to ABC News, one study reported that teens who opted for gastric banding shed 10 times more pounds than teens who stuck to exercise and a healthy diet.

Teens Decide Where the Story Goes in Online Book 'Loser/Queen'

You know when you read a book and hope the character does something, but it doesn't end up happening? Wouldn't it be awesome to be able to choose where the story goes next? Well, here's your chance to do just that.

Author Jodi Lynn Anderson has put the first chapters of her book 'Loser/Queen' online, and each week readers will be able to vote on what happens next in the story.

Right now, Part 1: Chapters 1-4 are up on the site, introducing Cammy Hall, the story's unpopular main character who gets the chance to climb up the social ladder after she begins receiving mysterious text messages revealing secrets about the most popular kids in school.

Readers will be able to cast their votes by 5 p.m. ET each Thursday to decide what happens next in the book, and then the poll results and new chapters will be posted each Monday at 10 a.m. ET. How fun is that? The best part is that 'Loser/Queen' will be published as a paperback on December 21, so you'll have the chance to own a hard copy of the book you helped create. Ready to start reading? Check out the book here.
