Teens Decide Where the Story Goes in Online Book 'Loser/Queen'
You know when you read a book and hope the character does something, but it doesn't end up happening? Wouldn't it be awesome to be able to choose where the story goes next? Well, here's your chance to do just that.Author Jodi Lynn Anderson has put the first chapters of her book 'Loser/Queen' online, and each week readers will be able to vote on what happens next in the story.
Right now, Part 1: Chapters 1-4 are up on the site, introducing Cammy Hall, the story's unpopular main character who gets the chance to climb up the social ladder after she begins receiving mysterious text messages revealing secrets about the most popular kids in school.
Readers will be able to cast their votes by 5 p.m. ET each Thursday to decide what happens next in the book, and then the poll results and new chapters will be posted each Monday at 10 a.m. ET. How fun is that? The best part is that 'Loser/Queen' will be published as a paperback on December 21, so you'll have the chance to own a hard copy of the book you helped create.
