High School Student's Privacy Invaded By Vice Principal??
Blake Robbins, a sophomore at Harriton High School outside of Philadelphia, is suing his school district because he claims his school issued him a laptop to take home with him and they used it to spy on him in his home using the computer's built-in webcam.Blake says his assistant vice principal confronted him with a photo (taken by the webcam) that showed Blake holding some candy, but his school thought they were pills and thought Blake was selling drugs.
It's not just a very serious accusation, but it raises questions about how whether or not Blake's privacy was violated since the computer belonged to the school.
School administrator, Lindy Matsko, says she has never spied on students and did not give permission to other faculty members to spy on students, but Blake says his school has yet to talk about how they got the photo of him.

The school is probably the people that said no because they dont think that they did wrong. I know that if i was Blake i'd sue and win no doubt. You guys and girls pray for him everyday.

OR COURSE HIS PRIVACY WAS VIOLATED AND HE SHOULD WIN.ISNT IT ILLEGAL TO DO SOMETHING LIKE WHAT HIS VICE PRINCIPAL DID ANYWAY?
Miranda Mar 4th 2010 8:53PM
lol, I hate it when people deny that they did something when they know they did do it. the principal knows she/he sent the laptop home with him just so that she/he could invade his personal space. This boy is going to be famous and the school is going to go through some tough times because of this one thing. So it's nobodys fault but their own.

He should win his law suit without a doubt. How else would the school get a picture of him in his home like that? I don't think any of his friends would give them a photo of him holding candy and claim that its drugs so the school made a huge mistake by jumping to conclusions... and spying on students
gucchihucchi Mar 4th 2010 9:49PM
He has to prove they got it from his PC otherwise no telling one boy against the school officials

Ummm, the phrase is TOO FAR, not TWO FAR. Internet shorthand needs to banned world-wide. It's making being illiterate look cool, which is totally wrong on many levels.
I'd love it if every message board on the Internet had a special filter that rejected ANY POST THAT CONTAINED AS LITTLE AS ONE IMPROPERLY SPELLED WORD. Not only that, but the sender would receive a message telling why the post was rejected, and what word(s) are/were misspelled, giving the poster the opportunity to correct his/her mistake(s).
Come on, the technology HAS to be out there!

okay honestly im confused with this. so he was in his home, but how did the laptop take the pic? i mean like who just has their laptop opened, on, and with the camera thing up. idk, its crazy. and why in the world would the school ppl wanna spy on him??? my sister told me tht it was on the news, and he wasnt the only one. several other ppl who took home the laptop had the same thing happen to them. this is really kinda creepy.
