'Vampire Diaries' Is #1 With Teen Girls - Are You One Of Them?

Vampire was the fifth most used word in 2009 and they're still taking a bite out of pop culture in 2010.

The Vampire Diaries
is only in its first season on the CW, but it's already the number one show for female viewers ages 12-34. Last week 4 million people tuned in to see Katherine's (Nina Dobrev) story unfold, their biggest audience since November. That means we can take a pretty good guess at what you're doing on Thursday nights at 8.

Ian Somerhalder,
who plays Damon Salvatore, is taking the humble approach to his hit show's growing popularity. He tweeted, "Good to see that we are a trending topic on Twitter and that people aren't sick of us yet." Not even close, Ian.
