The CW Network Gets Twit It

The CW Television Network is making it easy to stay up-to-the-minute on all of your favorite CW shows...really easy.

If you go here, you'll find links to the official Twitter pages for everyone from the network's stars to the writers and producers. With so many fake Twitter accounts, it's nice to know you're following the real CW celebrity and not an imposter.

But following them can also equal hints at future episodes, updates on which locations shows are currently filming at, photos and more behind-the-scenes info that would be pretty hard to come by otherwise and faster than any fan site can blog about.

Lucky for us, The Vampire Diaries cast are big tweeters. Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert), Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) and Zach Roerig (Matt) are all on Twitter. It's important to note that these are their personal accounts. Unlike the cast of Glee, who maintain personal Twitter accounts and character accounts.

Just this week Nina tweeted some details from the show: "filming at the Salvatore house...Love this estate." She even sent a funny tweet to the Vampire Diaries' executive producer, Julie Plec, with her own wishes for the show's storyline.

"Its freeeeezing. I have an idea @julieplec, can Elena discover her real father is Jamaican and she, stefan+ damon go find him there next EP?"
