Paul Wesley: Don't Compare Me to Robert Pattinson

Good looks. Check. Experience playing a vampire. Check. Middle name Thomas. Check. Only has sisters. Check. Seems like Robert Pattinson would be Paul Wesley's first choice to play him in the movie version of his life, right? Wrong.

"Robert Pattinson is the like the last person I want to be compared with," he told Seventeen magazine. "I think any girl would throw me under a bus to be within five feet of Robert Pattinson. I actually think he's an attractive guy. And I watched most of Twilight, and I think he was really intriguing."

Jealous much? We're think a lot of girls would prefer Paul to Rob, but it sounds like the Vampire Diaries star is a Pattinson fan after all. But despite their similarities, Paul insists his show is no Twilight 2.0. "The books were written 15 years ago - before Twilight. It's a very original story, and it's important to me that my character and the whole story's judged for what it is."

annie i totaly agree. Pattinson is,... well he's a bit slow. But P.Wesley is sexy and cute.
On the other hand, in The Vampire Diaries i prefer Ian to Paul, but that is because he's the bad-good- guy.

Paul Wesley is million times the man that Pattinson will never be. For one he has real emotion not fake! If you watch Pattinson he just tries to be what the person in front of him wants which means he's empty as a person! He is a wonderful liar but other than that he doesn't excel at anything so don't compare the two because it doesn't do Paul justice!!!!!!!!!!
