Video Premiere: Meese, 'Tell Me It's Over'
Pop rockers Meese are back with a brand-new single that showcases the band's knack for unforgettable piano-driven melodies. 'Tell Me It's Over' from the Denver group's debut album, 'Broadcast,' is just as much of a shower karaoke contender as the four-piece's first single, 'Next in Line,' and in their new video, Meese makes sure they have every angle covered."I came up with the idea for the video after looking at camcorder footage from our summer tour," lead singer Patrick Meese tells JSYK. "I liked how grainy and raw everything looked. Then I drew up some sketches and Ryan, the director, took it from there."
Patrick takes on double-duty providing vocals and piano for the song while also controlling one of the hand-held cameras that capture the band in the industrial performance space. The pop jam is also shot from dozens of other cameras, swinging from the ceiling in order to film the quartet from multiple perspectives. Pretty sweet.
Watch the video for 'Tell Me It's Over' after the jump. Meese's debut album 'Broadcast' is now available in stores and on iTunes.
