Rachelle Lefevre Welcomes Two New Family Members

On December 17th, Rachelle Lefevre, who plays evil vampire Victoria in Twilight and New Moon, lost her precious pup. She tweeted to fans, "Our beloved Honey left this world today. She taught me love. My heart is simultaneously forever healed and forever broken."
Rachelle and Honey graced the Summer 2009 issue of Modern Dog Magazine. "have never seen people gravitate towards a dog like they gravitate towards her," she told the magazine. "Honey has all these little quirks and she will let you know: "I can do cute, funny, and sweet, but don't mess with me."
From her loss, Rachelle decided to create a positive and give another dog a loving home. On December 30 she posted this message on her Twitter page, "Jamie & I are going to adopt another dog in the new year to honor Honey by taking home a new rescue. Watch out LA shelters - here we come..."
And she did! Not only did she adopt another dog, she adopted TWO. Check out the photos of her two new family members.
Rachelle made good on her word just a couple days later adopting Jack Sprat & Momma Bear. She announced their official arrival by tweeting, "J & I went 2 Baldwin Park shelter & rescued 2 amazing dogs who we hope will b in our lives for years. Welcome home Jack Sprat & Momma Bear!!"
Honey was Rachelle's first dog, but after getting her, she told Modern Dog she's a dog owner for life now. "Oh, fully! When we're not with her, my heart hurts," she said.
Our heart goes out to Rachelle, but we're happy for Jack and Momma! Maybe she'll pose again for the magazine with her two new pups!
