This Year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Line-Up

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is the biggest Turkey Day tradition in America other than...well, turkey. And celebs and their publicists work like crazy to be a part of the famous parade that has marched down NYC's Broadway for decades and is seen by millions.

There was a brief scandal earlier this month when Macy's invited (and then un-invited) the cast of Glee to perform in the parade. The "official" explanation for the snub was that Glee is on a different network (FOX) than the parade (NBC). Lame, we know. A Glee performance would have so been worth waking up early for!

Luckily, several other stars will be there to cheer us up...

Tiffany Thornton will sing 'I Believe'. Tiffany told us in an exclusive interview just weeks ago, "I'm going to be in New York City for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and I have a duet with Kermit the Frog!" she said. "I'm riding on the Disney Float. It's the last float before Santa."


Keke Palmer will sing her new song 'Top of the World' and Mitchel Musso will 'Shout It' at this year's parade. Here's what he tweeted earlier this month:

"MACY's THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE! This is HUGE for me! I watch it every year & now I get to be a part of it! It's kind of like I get to be w/ u guys on Thanksgiving Day. I'm praying that as many of you that can will come & join me as we "SHOUT IT" out on the streets of New York!"

Justin Bieber is a natural choice for this year's parade - he's new on the scene and his album just dropped. We're guessing he would love to be in the parade but nothing has been confirmed. We did find an online petition to get Justin in the parade though, so stay tuned to see if it worked.

Can't make it to NYC on Nov. 26th? Then grab your fave blanket or Snuggie and a warm cup of cocoa and check out the parade from the best seats in the house: yours! The action begins at 9 am EST on NBC.
