New Video: Care Bears on Fire, 'Barbie Eat a Sandwich'

Brooklyn pop-punkers Care Bears On Fire have a brand-new video! The girls have just released a video for 'Barbie Eat a Sandwich,' which was inspired by a family trip, Izzy says."The inspiration for this song came from a visit to a toy store in Delaware with my family," she tells JSYK. "We were in the doll section and I noticed that all the dolls were tiny, anorexic, their necks were as thin as their thighs. I found this super messed up and wrote the title 'Barbie Eat a Sandwich' in my notebook."

THIS IS THE WORST BAND I HAVE EVER HEARD! Barbie Eat a Sandwich? How long did it take them to write that? They're trying to be "cool" and "rebels" but they're just stupid 12 year old's with they're braces on.

I think their anorexic and need to get a job that fits their age.Like raking leaves for money.They should take my advise, and they would have just as many fans b/c their hole neighborhood fans of them for raking their leaves.I bet they have much less fans than a hole neighborhood though.

Wow.
These girls need to get a life.
1. Their music sucks.
2. They need to grow up.
3. Stop creating the image of being "rebels"
4. Need TO STOP ATTEMPING at creating music.
5. Need a clothing stylist and hair and make stylist.

I think they are good. Being 12 right now I wish I were famous! I can sing but I'm not in a band. I think they are luck to be famous at such a young age! I bet they will be even beter when they grow up! WHO CARES WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE THEY'RE COOL! How many 12 year old do you know that were on nick with justin biber and keke palmer!

I honestly think that they are not the best singers. BUT, thier lyrics mean something. Barbie is a blonde with plastic boobs, butt, and well, everything. She is a complete fake. Many girls have the image in their head that they need to be tall, skinny, blond, and have to have everything cost more than $100. I mean, come on, and pink convertable???? The people that are bagging on them need to get real. Do you realize that little girls can die from anorexia bacause they follow the the fake chick??? Care bears on fire are very real and they are one of the few girls that realize that you can be popular with being and fake hag.

Well, I really think the only thing that needs work is the melody, a little bit, and maybe the ending. But I liked it, because they're doing what bands were TRYING to do forty years ago and breaking away from the endless monotony of songs about falling in love, being madly in love, breaking up, one-sided relationships, unrequited crushes, etc. And they have a point. What kind of a role model is Barbie for little girls? One time I heard a story about a very pretty little Asian preschooler who was sad because she thought only blond hair and blue eyes were beautiful. And what does Barbie have going for her? A great body, nice hair, and literally an empty head.
