'Up' Goes Retro With New Movie Posters
Disney's 'Up' takes things to another level with its unbelievably realistic animation, but now that the film is being released on DVD, it seems that Disney/Pixar is going retro! In celebration of the popular movie's descent to home theaters across the country, we've got these super cool, vintage-style posters that recall scenes from the film.
What do you think of the old school look?
Up follows grumpy old man Carl Fredricksen and his overeager stowaway Russell. The unlikely pair embark on a crazy adventure to South America in a floating house suspended by thousands of balloons and find much more than they ever imagined.
Check out all eight retro posters below. Up is now available on DVD and Blu-ray.

I saw the movie 'Up', and I don't know why they would need to advertise it this way. Though the movie was directed at all audiences, it was mainly for children ages 4 through 8, and they would not particularrly be attracted to this advertisement. A colorful animated sign would suit just fine.
