'Fame' Hits Theaters Today!

If you're looking for a high school musical, Fame isn't it. This exciting modern version of the 1980 classic follows the lives of aspiring artists in the toughest performing arts school in New York City and shows just how hard it is to make it.

"I think what our movie really capitalizes on is the work ethic that's involved and what kids actually have to go through to be in the performing arts and to be in this business," Asher Book says in our exclusive interview. "It shows the fact that you might get turned down and you might not do well in an audition, but it gives you hope to do better and gives you the outcome of what we all go through."
